Le Marche

In a land of magical splendour, positioned between The Adriatic and The Apennine Mountains, is Le Marche: a beautiful region of a thousand attractions. Also called “Le Belle Marche”, the Region comprises 5 provinces and Pesaro and Urbino in the north, is also known as “Riviera of Hills”.

Four distinct seasons with balmy warm summer evenings, snowy winters and moderately wet springs and autumns give the  region a very varied wildlife with boar, deer, foxes and even wolves (in the winter) roaming through the unspoilt oak woods and agricultural fields while an abundance of wild spring flowers form the background for the fire flies in the spring.

In addition to the fantastic food and many restaurants, there is plenty to do and see in a region that carries many signs of the ancient Romans, Medieval hilltop town and fortresses and modern day culture and interests.

  • Several National Parks very close by
  • Extensive Mountain biking & hiking trails
  • Nature, sport and blue award beaches
  • Feasts, festivals and fabulous local food
  • Castles, fortresses and renaissance towns
  • Old skills and ancient Roman history
